AI SEO

AI SEO, for when the answer replaces the search.

More buyers now ask an assistant instead of scrolling ten blue links. Being the source it cites is a different job from ranking first — related, but not the same.

Why it matters

Ranking first is no longer the whole game.

When an AI answer resolves the question outright, the click never happens. That is uncomfortable, but it is not the end of search — it changes what winning looks like. The prize is being the source named in the answer.

Assistants favour content they can parse and verify: clear structure, direct answers near the top, original data rather than recycled claims, and authors with visible credentials. Much of that is simply good SEO practised more strictly.

The rest is specific — schema that describes entities properly, an llms.txt for crawlers, consistent brand mentions across the sites these models already trust. We do this for our own site, which is the only demonstration worth offering.

  • Answer-first

The opening paragraph resolves the question. Assistants quote it.

  • Citable data

Original numbers give models a reason to name you.

Questions

Frequently asked.

Substantially overlapping, not identical. The fundamentals are shared. What differs is structuring for extraction, publishing data worth citing, and building the entity signals that let a model be confident about who you are.

No. Nobody can — these systems are opaque and change often. What we can do is make you the kind of source they consistently favour, and track mentions so you can see whether it is working.

The competition for it is unusually thin, which is exactly why. The same window existed for conventional SEO fifteen years ago and it did not stay open long.
